With Bachelor Degree by Northwest University and Doctoral Degree by Tongji University; was postdoctoral researcher at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, Germany, and CSC visiting scholar at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, U.S.A.

曾承担《微体古生物学》、《古生物学与地层》、《专业英语》、《地史学》和《安徽巢湖野外地质实习》等课程教学任务，从事海洋微体古生物学、生物地球化学、第四纪气候与环境和古海洋学等研究。

Has been and is teaching Micropaleontology, Paleontology and Stratigraphy, Professional English of Geosciences, Historical Geology and Field Geology of Chaohu of Anhui Province, and is engaged in study of Marine Micropaleontology, Biogeochemistry, Quaternary Climate and Environment, and Paleoceanography.

主要研究内容为第四纪热带太平洋－印度洋海区上部水体洋流变迁及其与东亚古季风和厄尔尼诺等气候现象的联系、以及印尼穿越流区古海洋学参数的探索、开发、优化和应用。

His current researches focus on past changes in upper ocean waters of the tropical Pacific-Indian Ocean and their relations to mid- to low-latitude climate dynamics such as East Asian monsoon and ENSO, and development, optimization and application of paleoceanographic proxies in particular for the Indonesian Throughflow region.

2016-2017年计划招收硕士研究生1名，博士研究生1名。硕士研究生要求本科阶段为地质、地理、化学和数学等理科相关专业，英语通过大学六级；博士研究生要求硕士阶段为地质和地理学相关专业，具备与国际同行使用英语交流的能力，以第一作者身份在核心期刊以上发表过文章。熟悉(LA)-ICP-MS技术及仪器操作更好。承诺提供优厚的研究生津贴、以及丰富的国内和国际出差机会。欢迎有志于未来从事第四纪古气候学、古海洋学等研究工作的同学将意向和简历发至jx08[at]live.cn。

He is now (as of Sept., 2016) searching for two students, who are expected to be self-motivated, open-minded, and future Paleo-climate/oceanography job-oriented. Bachelor Degree holders who passed CET-6/equivalent English language ability and graduated from Geology, Geography, Chemistry, Mathematics and related fields are recommended to apply. Applicants who hold Master's Degree are required from the fields of Geology or Geography and must, as the first author, have published one peer-reviewed paper. Good English language ability is a must. Knowledge/ability of operating (LA)-ICP-MS is preferred, but not required. Successful candidates, one for Master’s program and the other for Doctoral program, will start their academic study in Mar./Sept. 2017 and continue for three years. They are assured of abundant students’ allowance (much better than average level within NWU) and plenty of chances of attending domestic and international conferences/exchanges in the duration of their study.
