岩石学与地幔地球化学学科团队是一支由知名学者及中青年学术骨干组成、富有活力的教学科研队伍。现有院士1人、国家级教学名师1人、国家级人才项目称号获得者3人。专业构成包括:岩石学、地球化学 、矿床学、矿物学、行星地质等。
团队在大陆岩石圈演化、地幔化学不均一性、造山带岩浆作用及板内岩浆作用等领域独具自身研究优势和特色,取得了一批有重要影响的高水平成果,在国内外享有一定知名度。团队主攻“造山带岩浆作用与成矿”、“地球化学与宇宙化学”及“大陆岩石圈形成与演化”三个研究方向。主要以岩浆作用的产物为研究对象,发挥多学科交叉的优势,通过增强地球化学分析测试手段、高温高压实验模拟和数值模拟,提高解决岩浆岩岩石成因与示踪壳-幔物质循环及其演化过程的能力,提升国际学术影响力。
